With these next generation consoles the GPUs and CPUs which are the main board processors are producing more heat for the better graphics that we are seeing now . This is the reason for the large fans that are required in cooling the system and keeping it from overheating. Unfortunately these fans collect dust and debris inside the internal parts of the system and cause it to overheat and produces the red light of death in the Xbox 360’s and the yellow light of death in the PS3’s at least 50% of the time.
